• Installation: Hardwired. Licensed electrician recommended. Mount the canopy to a junction box rated for the fixture weight; the 6 Lights needs a support bracket into ceiling framing and lift access. Two people are needed for all sizes to hold the frames during wiring.
• Wire adjustment: Each wire adjusts at the canopy and can be shortened on site; custom lengths are available at order. Set and lock every wire, then set frame rotation, before energizing.
• Lighting: LED included, 48W per frame; no bulbs to replace. Standard version uses an on/off switch; remote-dimmable version available upon request, and should not be paired with a wall dimmer.
• Cleaning: Power off at the breaker. Wipe the aluminum frames and silicone diffusers with a dry microfiber cloth; for marks, use a lightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive or solvent cleaners on silicone. Clean tall installations from a landing or with an extension pole.
• Checkups: Re-check the canopy fixing and each wire lock one week after installation, then annually.

Light color guide:

• Confirm Warm White or Cool White at order. Warm White suits residential stairwells, foyers, and dining rooms; Cool White suits hotel lobbies and modern grey or white interiors where the outlines should read crisp.
• Dimming: Order the remote-dimmable version wherever the fixture is the main light; at 48W per frame the full output is high, and the remote lets you bring it down for evenings without a wall dimmer.
• Matching: Keep the frames at the same color temperature as sconces and recessed lights visible from the staircase.

By placement:

• Staircase / stairwell: 3 or 4 Lights centered in the open well with the frames angled to follow the stair's direction; 6 Lights for three-story wells.
• Duplex / villa foyer: 4 or 6 Lights centered in the opening; the tall frames read from the entry and the landing.
• High-ceiling entryway: 3 Lights with the drop shortened for 12-14 ft (3.7-4.3m) ceilings, frames compressed to a 48"-60" (122-152cm) stack.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Stairwell: Keep the lowest frame edge at least 7 ft (2.13m) above the treads it hangs over and 6" (15cm) clear of the rail; set the highest frame near the top third of the well.
• Foyer: Maintain 7 ft (2.13m) of floor clearance; in two-story spaces, position the middle frame level with the second-floor line.
• Dining table: Set the lowest frame edge 30-36" (76-91cm) above the tabletop with a 10 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot.
• Living room: Keep the lowest frame 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs over a table.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: The listed height is the maximum with wires fully extended; every wire shortens on site. Each frame is 39.37" (100cm) tall, so the lowest wire plus 39.37" (100cm) sets the bottom of the fixture.
• Frame arrangement: Rotate each frame 15-30 degrees from the one above and offset the heights so the outlines overlap in view; frames hung parallel at one level read as a single flat panel.
• Wire pairs: Each frame hangs on wires at its top corners; equal lengths keep the frame vertical, unequal lengths tilt it. Decide vertical or tilted before locking.
• Proportion check: The frames extend 7.87" (20cm) each side of their wires; keep the total spread under one-third of the stairwell or foyer opening width.
• Output check: At 14,400 lumens, the 3 Lights alone lights a 400 sq ft (37 m²) foyer; in a smaller entry, order the dimmable version rather than a bigger size.
