Installation: Hardwired. Licensed electrician recommended. Mount the canopy to a junction box rated for the fixture weight and fixed into ceiling framing; the branch is cantilevered from a single small canopy, so the box must be secure. Two people are needed to hold the branch level during wiring.

Chain option: If ordered with the chain, set the drop length at the canopy before fitting the glass flowers.

Lighting: G4 LED capsule bulbs, 18; replace with LED G4 of the same wattage and color temperature.

Cleaning: Power off at the breaker. Dust the glass flowers and branches with a dry microfiber cloth or soft brush; for smudges on glass, use a lightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive or acidic cleaners on the finish.

Checkups: Re-check the canopy fixing and flower seating one week after installation, then annually.

Atita comes in one standard size with a choice of mounting, branch finish, and flower style, so the decision is about the ceiling and the room's palette rather than diameter. Its 12" (30cm) height makes it the branch chandelier for rooms where a hanging fixture would sit too low.

Mounting guide (flush or chain):

  • Flush mount (standard): For 8-9 ft (2.4-2.7m) ceilings and any room where the fixture hangs over open floor; the branches sit 12" (30cm) below the ceiling, leaving 84" (213cm) of clearance on an 8 ft ceiling.
  • Adjustable chain option: For 10 ft+ (3m+) ceilings, or over a dining table where you want the flowers closer to the surface; specify the chain option and drop length at order.
  • Custom sizes: Widths and bloom counts beyond the standard 60" (152cm) and 18 blooms are made to order; contact us with the ceiling area and room dimensions.

Branch finish guide:

  • Amber Brown: Warm reddish bronze; suits wood, terracotta, and warm neutral interiors.
  • Grey Brown: Cooler, weathered tone; suits grey, white, stone, and Scandinavian palettes.
  • Amber Yellow: Bright golden brass; reads as a gold chandelier and pairs with cream, marble, and brass hardware.
  • Antique Gold: Aged, darker gold; suits traditional, transitional, and moody interiors.

Flower style guide:

  • White Magnolia: Cup-shaped petals that wrap the bulb; the softest, most diffused glow and the fullest silhouette.
  • Four-Petal Flower: Open ribbed petals that leave the bulb visible; the lightest, most delicate look and the brightest output.
  • White Plum Blossom: Ruffled translucent petals; the most textured option, closest to a blossom branch.

Light color guide (which bulbs to use):

  • Warm White (2700-3000K): The right match for hand-blown glass and bronze or gold branches; gives the flowers a candlelit glow. Choose it for bedrooms, living rooms, and dining rooms.
  • Natural White (4000K): Keeps the white glass crisp; suits foyers and grey or white interiors with the Grey Brown finish.
  • Bulb choice: Clear G4 LED capsules, 1.5-2.5W each, keep heat low inside the glass flowers; 18 × 2W gives roughly 3,500-4,000 lumens.

By placement:

  • Living room: Centered over a coffee table or sofa grouping in rooms 12' × 16' (3.7 × 4.9m) and up; the 60" (152cm) spread reads across the whole seating zone.
  • Bedroom: Centered over the bed in primary suites; the flush mount keeps full headroom, and the branches extend past the headboard width on a queen or king.
  • Rectangular dining table: Over tables 72"-96" (183-244cm) long; use the chain option on 10 ft+ (3m+) ceilings to bring the flowers within 30-36" (76-91cm) of the tabletop.
  • Foyer / entryway: Centered in single-story entries 8' × 10' (2.4 × 3m) and up, with the branch running the length of the space.
  • Hallway / gallery: Along the axis of a wide hallway or gallery, where the branch follows the direction of travel.
  • Kitchen (open plan): Over a long island in an open-plan kitchen with 8-9 ft (2.4-2.7m) ceilings, where a hanging linear fixture would block sightlines.

Mounting height rules (practical)

  • Flush mount, open floor: The branches sit 12" (30cm) below the ceiling; on an 8 ft (2.4m) ceiling that leaves 84" (213cm) of clearance, above the 7 ft (2.13m) minimum.
  • Over a dining table (chain option): Set the lowest flower 30-36" (76-91cm) above the tabletop with a 10 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot.
  • Over a bed: Flush mount only; keep the full 12" (30cm) profile for headroom when standing on the bed side.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

  • Orientation: The branch is asymmetric and runs 60" (152cm) in one direction; decide the axis before the electrician sets the canopy, since the 2.5" (6.4cm) canopy sits near the branch's center of balance, not its midpoint.
  • Proportion check: The 60" (152cm) spread suits rooms 12 ft (3.7m) wide and up; in smaller rooms, request a custom shorter width.
  • Ceiling clearance: Allow 25" (64cm) of depth across the branch and keep the tips 12" (30cm) or more from walls, crown molding, and ceiling fans.
  • Handmade variation: Every branch is forged by hand and every flower is hand-blown, so branch angles and petal shapes vary between pieces; this is part of the craft, not a defect.
  • Bulb heat: Use LED G4 capsules only; halogen G4 bulbs run too hot for glass flowers.

Yes. The flush mount version is only 12" (30cm) tall, leaving 84" (213cm) of clearance on an 8 ft (2.4m) ceiling, so it works over open floor, beds, and seating without a drop.

Amber Brown for warm wood and terracotta interiors, Grey Brown for grey, white, and Scandinavian palettes, Amber Yellow for a gold look with cream and marble, and Antique Gold for traditional or moody rooms.

White Magnolia for the softest, fullest glow; Four-Petal Flower for the lightest look and brightest output; White Plum Blossom for the most textured, blossom-branch effect. All three use the same branches and bulbs.

Yes for a bedroom or a living room up to about 250 sq ft (23 m²); 18 × 2W LED G4 bulbs give roughly 3,500-4,000 lumens. In larger open-plan rooms, add wall or recessed lighting.

Yes. Custom widths and bloom counts are made to order; contact us with your ceiling dimensions and the finish and flower style you want.

Exactly the coverage we needed

We went back and forth between two sizes for our living room. Sent the room dimensions in and got a straight answer the same day. Installed on a standard 9-foot ceiling with no issues.

Install went smoothly

Two-storey entryway. Our electrician handled the mounting in about two hours. Packaging was serious - every strand wrapped separately, nothing chipped.

Worth the wait

Shipping took longer than I hoped, but it arrived in the window they quoted and the fixture is a lot of presence. Measure carefully first.

Modern Chandelier replied

Thanks Elena - transit on the larger configurations does run to the back half of our stated window. We show the estimate on every product page so there are no surprises.

The questions we hear most

All FAQs →

How do I know what size to order?

Add your room's length and width in feet — that number read as inches is a good target diameter. A 12 × 14 ft room points to roughly a 26″ fixture. Then check your ceiling height, which decides how far it can drop.

Or skip the maths: send us both figures and we will name the exact fixture and size that fits. It is free, it takes a day, and there is no obligation to buy. The size and fit guide covers every rule we work to.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are processed in 2–7 business days, then standard shipping runs 7–20 business days within the US and 7–15 days internationally. Express is 5–11.

Every product page shows an estimate for the size you select, and tracking is sent the moment the fixture ships.

What if it arrives damaged?

Every order ships fully insured, with crystal and glass packed piece by piece in separate compartments.

If something arrives broken, photograph it the day it lands and keep the original carton. We send the replacement part or the whole fixture at our cost — no claim to argue, no return shipping to pay.

Can the drop length be changed?

On adjustable models, yes — and at no extra cost. Send your ceiling height with the order and the suspension is cut before it ships, so your electrician mounts it rather than modifying it on a ladder.

Finish and dimension changes are quoted per project. See customize your light.

Do I need an electrician?

For hardwired fixtures, yes. Mounting hardware and instructions ship with every order; the electrician's time is not included.

One thing worth checking first: a standard US ceiling box supports up to 50 lb. Above that the fixture needs support independent of the box. Every product page lists its weight so your electrician can confirm before the install date.

What is the return policy?

30 days from delivery, unused and in the original packaging. Custom and personalized items are excluded, which is why any custom specification is confirmed in writing before production starts.

A catalogue fixture with a custom drop length is not a custom item — it returns under the normal policy.

Which safety certifications do the fixtures carry?

UL and ETL for the United States and Canada, CE and VDE for Europe, SAA for Australia, plus FCC and ROHS.

Certification documents are available on request for any product — useful if the fixture is going into a permitted job or a commercial space.

Do you work with designers and contractors?

Yes. The trade program covers tiered pricing from 10–25%, priority processing, specification support on plans and elevations, and one account contact across every project.

Applications are reviewed within two business days, and there is no minimum order to apply.

Still deciding?

Send your ceiling height and room dimensions. We will tell you which fixture and size fits — free, with no obligation to buy.
