• Installation: Hardwired. Licensed electrician recommended. Mount the canopy to a junction box rated for the fixture weight; the 28 to 60-head versions need a support bracket into ceiling framing and lift access. Two people are needed for clusters of 12 heads and up.
• Wire adjustment: Each wire adjusts at the canopy and can be shortened on site. Set and lock every wire length and ring rotation before energizing.
• Lighting: Integrated LED, 8W per ring; no bulbs to replace. Fixed color temperature per unit at purchase; use a standard on/off switch.
• Cleaning: Power off at the breaker. Wipe the rings and acrylic diffusers with a dry microfiber cloth; for marks, use a lightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Light color guide (which color temperature to choose):

• Warm White (3000K): Residential stairwells, foyers, living rooms, and dining tables; warms the gold half of each ring and suits wood, cream, and stone interiors.
• Cool White (6000K): Commercial lobbies, modern chrome-and-white interiors, and stairwells where visibility on the treads matters more than warmth.
• Matching: Keep the rings at the same color temperature as sconces and recessed lights visible from the staircase.

By placement:

• Staircase / stairwell: 10 to 28 Heads for single- and two-story wells; 36 Heads and up for three-story and wider wells. Center the canopy in the open well, not over the treads.
• Two-story foyer: 18 to 28 Heads centered in the opening so the cascade reads from the entry and the landing.
• High-ceiling living room: 10 to 21 Heads over a seating group in rooms with 12 ft+ (3.7m+) ceilings.
• Round dining table: 7 Heads at a shallow stagger over tables 42"-48" (107-122cm); 10 Heads over 48"-60" (122-152cm) with 10 ft+ (3m+) ceilings.
• Entryway (single-story): 7 Heads with wires shortened to a 36"-48" (91-122cm) drop.
• Commercial spaces: 36 to 60 Heads in lobbies and atriums, or several 12 to 18 Head clusters in a row along a long space.
• Sloped ceiling: All sizes mount on angled ceilings; the wires hang vertically.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Stairwell: Keep the lowest ring at least 7 ft (2.13m) above the treads it hangs over and 6" (15cm) clear of the rail; set the highest rings near the top third of the well.
• Foyer: Maintain 7 ft (2.13m) of floor clearance; in two-story spaces, spread the rings so the cascade's center sits level with the second-floor line.
• Round dining table: Set the lowest ring 30-36" (76-91cm) above the tabletop with a 10 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot.
• Living room: Keep the lowest ring 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs over a table.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: The listed height is the maximum with wires fully extended; every wire shortens on site, and the 48 and 60 Heads are fully adjustable across their range.
• Stagger plan: Set the rings at staggered heights so each one reads separately; rings at one level flatten the cascade.
• Ring orientation: Each ring is half chrome, half gold; rotate them so the finish transition faces the same direction across the cascade for a consistent look from the main viewpoint.
• Proportion check: Keep the canopy diameter under one-third of the stairwell or foyer opening width.
• Air movement: Fine wires sway near HVAC vents or open doors; keep the canopy 3 ft (0.9m) or more from vents.
