• Installation: Hardwired. Licensed electrician recommended. Mount the canopy to a junction box rated for the fixture weight; two people are needed to hold the fixture during wiring.
• Downrod: Install the 9.8" (25cm) downrod as supplied, or specify a longer length at order for high ceilings.
• Lighting: G9 LED bulbs, 8 to 33 by size; replace with LED G9 of the same wattage and color temperature. Dimmable version available upon request.
• Cleaning: Power off at the breaker. Wipe the glass globes with a dry microfiber cloth; for smudges, use a lightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Wipe the chrome core with a soft dry cloth; avoid abrasive or acidic cleaners.
• Checkups: Re-check the canopy fixing, downrod joint, and globe seating one week after installation, then annually.

Elise comes in three sizes that grow in globe count and diameter, so match the size to the table or room below, then set the drop with the downrod and choose the light color. Each size carries its own recommended room range, from 86 sq ft (8 m²) to 323 sq ft (30 m²).

Size guide (which size do you need):

• 8 Lights, D23.6" × H20.9" (60 × 53cm), 3,600-4,000 lumens: Round tables 36"-42" (91-107cm), bedrooms, and entryways of 86-161 sq ft (8-15 m²).
• 18 Lights, D31.5" × H20.9" (80 × 53cm), 8,100-9,000 lumens: Round tables 48"-54" (122-137cm), dining rooms, and living rooms of 161-215 sq ft (15-20 m²).
• 33 Lights, D39.4" × H24.4" (100 × 62cm), 14,900-16,500 lumens: Round tables 60"-66" (152-168cm), large living rooms, and foyers of 215-323 sq ft (20-30 m²).

Light color guide (warm or cool white):

• Warm White (2700-3000K): A soft golden glow that warms the smoky globes to amber and softens the chrome; choose it for dining rooms, living rooms, and bedrooms.
• Cool White (5000-6000K): A crisp, bright tone that keeps the ribbed clear glass sparkling and the chrome bright; choose it for modern white, grey, or monochrome interiors.
• Bulb choice: G9 LED, about 5W each; keep the same wattage and color temperature in every globe. With the dimmable version, use dimmable G9 LEDs and an LED-rated dimmer.

By placement:

• Dining room: Centered over the table, sized to about two-thirds of the table width.
• Living room: The 18 or 33 Lights centered on the room or over a coffee table.
• Bedroom: The 8 Lights centered on the room or over the foot of the bed.
• Foyer / entryway: The 18 or 33 Lights in entries with 9 ft+ (2.7m) ceilings; order a longer downrod for taller foyers.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Dining table: Set the lowest globe 30-36" (76-91cm) above the tabletop with an 8 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot of ceiling height.
• Living room / bedroom / foyer: Keep the lowest globe at least 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs directly over a table.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: Fixture height is 20.9"-24.4" (53-62cm) plus the 9.8" (25cm) downrod; on an 8 ft (2.4m) ceiling the standard downrod places the 8 or 18 Lights at the right height over a table. Order a longer downrod for ceilings over 9 ft (2.7m).
• Proportion check: Choose a diameter about two-thirds of a round table's width and keep 12" (30cm) clear of walls.
• Globe distribution: Spread the clear ribbed and smoky globes evenly around the core so neither tint clusters on one side.
• Weight check: The 33 Lights carries a large amount of glass; confirm the junction box rating and use a support bracket.
• Bulb heat: Use LED G9 only; halogen bulbs run too hot inside glass globes.
