• Installation: Hardwired. Licensed electrician recommended. Mount the canopy to a junction box rated for the fixture weight; two people are needed to hold the cluster during wiring.

Ellen comes in two sizes whose height matches their width, so the cluster reads as a full sphere of globes. Choose by the width of the table or room below, then set the wire to the ceiling and pick the light color.

Size guide (which size do you need):

• D23.6" × H23.6" (60 × 60cm), 12 lights, 5,400-6,000 lumens: Round tables 36"-42" (91-107cm), bedrooms, entryways, and kitchen islands 60"-72" (152-183cm); rooms of about 160-215 sq ft (15-20 m²).
• D31.5" × H31.5" (80 × 80cm), 20 lights, 9,000-10,000 lumens: Round tables 48"-54" (122-137cm), living rooms, and foyers of about 215-325 sq ft (20-30 m²).

Light color guide (warm or cool white):

• Warm White (2700-3000K): A soft golden glow that turns the smoky globes deep amber and bronze; choose it for dining rooms, living rooms, and bedrooms with a moody, luxurious feel.
• Cool White (5000-6000K): A crisp, bright tone that keeps the globes neutral grey and the reflections silvery; choose it for kitchen islands and modern monochrome interiors.
• Bulbs: G9 LED bulbs are included; replace with G9 LEDs of the same wattage and color temperature. The fixture is non-dimmable, so use standard bulbs and an on/off switch.

By placement:

• Dining room: Centered over the table, sized to about two-thirds of the table width.
• Kitchen island: The D23.6" (60cm) centered over a shorter island, or two in a row over longer islands.
• Living room: The D31.5" (80cm) centered on the room or over a coffee table.
• Foyer / entryway: Either size centered in the entry; the dark globes stand out against white walls.
• Bedroom: The D23.6" (60cm) centered on the room or over the foot of the bed.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Dining table: Set the lowest globe 30-36" (76-91cm) above the tabletop with an 8 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot of ceiling height.
• Kitchen island: Position the lowest globe 32-38" (81-97cm) above the countertop.
• Living room / bedroom / foyer: Keep the lowest globe at least 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs directly over a table.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: The cluster is 23.6" (60cm) or 31.5" (80cm) tall; add the wire you keep, up to 59.1" (150cm). On an 8 ft (2.4m) ceiling over a table, the D31.5" (80cm) needs only a few inches of wire.
• Proportion check: Choose a diameter about two-thirds of a round table's width and keep 12" (30cm) clear of walls.
• Contrast: Dark globes read strongest against light walls and ceilings; in a dark room, use Warm White so the cluster glows rather than disappears.
• Weight check: A full glass cluster is heavy; confirm the junction box rating for the D31.5" (80cm).
• Bulb heat: Use LED G9 only; halogen bulbs run too hot inside glass globes.
