  • Ideal For: Staircase, duplex/villa foyer, high-ceiling entryway, living room, dining room, hotel lobbies

Installation: Hardwired, 90-260VAC. Licensed electrician recommended. Mount the canopy to a junction box rated for the fixture weight; the 19 to 30-light versions carry substantial glass and need a support bracket into ceiling framing plus lift access. Two people are needed for clusters of 12 lights and up.

Wire adjustment: Each wire adjusts at the canopy and can be shortened on site. Set and lock every wire length before attaching the globes.

Lighting: G4 LED bulbs, 5W each; replace with LED G4 of the same wattage and color temperature. Dimmable version available upon request with an LED-rated dimmer; the standard version uses an on/off switch.

Cleaning: Power off at the breaker. Dust the globes with a dry microfiber cloth; for smudges, use a lightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Wipe the canopy with a soft dry cloth; avoid abrasive or acidic cleaners on plated finishes. Clean tall installations from a landing or with an extension pole.

Checkups: Re-check the canopy fixing, each wire lock, and globe seating one week after installation, then annually.

Flow scales by globe count, canopy diameter, and drop length, so ceiling height sets the drop, opening width sets the canopy, and room area sets the number of globes. Then choose the glass tint for the mood and the canopy finish for the room's metal tones.

Light count guide (how many globes do you need):

  • 6 Lights, 11.81" (30cm) canopy, 59.06" (150cm) drop, 3,000-3,300 lumens: Round tables 42"-48" (107-122cm), entryways, and living rooms with 10-12 ft (3-3.7m) ceilings; about 160-215 sq ft (15-20 m²).
  • 10 Lights, 15.75" (40cm) canopy, 78.74" (200cm) drop, 5,000-5,500 lumens: Single-story stairwells and dining rooms with 12-14 ft (3.7-4.3m) ceilings; about 215-270 sq ft (20-25 m²).
  • 12 Lights, 19.69" (50cm) canopy, 78.74" (200cm) drop, 6,000-6,600 lumens: Living rooms and stairwells 4-6 ft (1.2-1.8m) wide with 14-16 ft (4.3-4.9m) ceilings.
  • 15 Lights, 23.62" (60cm) canopy, 98.43" (250cm) drop, 7,500-8,250 lumens: Two-story stairwells and foyers 8' × 8' (2.4 × 2.4m) with 16-18 ft (4.9-5.5m) ceilings; the smallest size that fills a foyer on its own.
  • 19 Lights, 31.50" (80cm) canopy, 118.11" (300cm) drop, 9,500-10,450 lumens: Foyers 10' × 10' (3 × 3m) and stairwells 6 ft+ (1.8m+) wide with 18-22 ft (5.5-6.7m) ceilings.
  • 24 or 30 Lights, 31.50" (80cm) canopy, 157.48" (400cm) drop, 12,000-16,500 lumens: Villa entrance halls, hotel lobbies, and three-story stairwells with 22 ft+ (6.7m+) ceilings; choose 30 for a denser cascade in the same footprint.

Glass and canopy guide:

  • Transparent glass: The brightest option; the crystal inside sparkles and the pools of light are crisp. Pair with the silver or black canopy for modern interiors.
  • Smoked glass: Softer, moodier light with a grey cast; pairs with the black canopy in grey, charcoal, and contemporary schemes.
  • Amber glass: Warm cognac tone that reads as candlelight; pairs with the gold canopy in wood, cream, and traditional interiors.
  • Mixing: Keep one glass tint per fixture; mixed tints read as mismatched from below.

Light color guide (which bulbs to use):

  • Warm White (2700-3000K): The natural match for amber glass and the gold canopy, and the safe choice for homes; gives the crystal a champagne sparkle.
  • Natural White (4000K): Keeps transparent glass clear and suits the silver or black canopy in modern white or grey interiors and hotel lobbies.
  • Bulb choice: Clear G4 LED capsules, 5W each; keep the same wattage and color temperature on every globe so the cascade stays uniform.
  • Dimming: Order the dimmable version for foyers and living rooms where the fixture is the main light, and pair it with an LED-rated dimmer.

By placement:

  • Staircase / stairwell: 10 to 19 Lights for single- and two-story wells; 24 Lights and up for three-story wells. Center the canopy in the open well, not over the treads.
  • Duplex / villa foyer: 15 to 24 Lights centered in the opening so the globes read from the entry and the landing.
  • High-ceiling entryway: 6 or 10 Lights with the drop shortened for 12-14 ft (3.7-4.3m) ceilings.
  • Living room: 10 or 12 Lights over a seating group in rooms with 12 ft+ (3.7m+) ceilings.
  • Dining room: 6 Lights at a shallow stagger over round tables 42"-48" (107-122cm); the pool of light from each globe lands on the table.
  • Hotel lobbies: 24 or 30 Lights as a centerpiece, or several 10 to 12 Light clusters in a row.
  • Sloped ceiling: All sizes mount on angled ceilings; the wires hang vertically.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

  • Stairwell: Keep the lowest globe at least 7 ft (2.13m) above the treads it hangs over and 6" (15cm) clear of the rail; set the highest globes near the top third of the well.
  • Foyer: Maintain 7 ft (2.13m) of floor clearance; in two-story spaces, spread the globes so the cascade's center sits level with the second-floor line.
  • Dining table: Set the lowest globe 30-36" (76-91cm) above the tabletop with a 10 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot.
  • Living room: Keep the lowest globe 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs over a table.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

  • Drop calculation: The listed height is the maximum with wires fully extended; every wire shortens on site. Each globe adds 5.91" (15cm) below its wire.
  • Stagger plan: Set the globes at staggered heights so they overlap in view; globes at one level read as a flat ring rather than a cascade.
  • Proportion check: Keep the canopy diameter under one-third of the stairwell or foyer opening width.
  • Hand-blown variation: Each globe varies slightly in wall thickness and tint, and the crystal pieces inside settle differently; this is part of the material, not a defect.
  • Air movement: Glass globes on fine wires sway near HVAC vents or open doors; keep the canopy 3 ft (0.9m) or more from vents.

For typical spiral staircases, 10-12 lights (40-50x200cm) provide optimal coverage. Wider stairwells need 15-19 lights (60-80x250-300cm). Calculate one light for every 2-3 feet of stair width. Grand staircases over 12 feet wide need 24 lights (80x400cm).

Clear glass delivers maximum brightness. Smoked gray creates softer ambient lighting with modern appeal. Cognac tint produces warm, golden tones ideal for traditional spaces. All options compatible with both 3000K and 6000K LED temperatures.

Minimum requirements vary: 6 lights need 9-foot ceilings, 10-15 lights require 12-foot heights, 19-24 lights demand 15-foot clearance. Add 24 inches for mounting hardware.

LED systems last 50,000 hours (17 years at 8 hours daily use). Glass globes maintain clarity indefinitely with proper care. Replacement LEDs available without changing entire fixture.

Yes. Adjustable cables allow pattern modifications. Professional adjustment recommended to maintain balance and safety. Common patterns include spiral, straight line, or random arrangements.

Match the count to ceiling height: 6-10 Lights for single-story spaces up to 14 ft (4.3m), 12-15 Lights for two-story wells of 14-18 ft (4.3-5.5m), 19 Lights for 18-22 ft (5.5-6.7m), and 24-30 Lights for halls and lobbies over 22 ft (6.7m).

Transparent for the brightest light and modern interiors, smoked for grey and charcoal contemporary schemes, amber for a warm candlelit glow in wood, cream, and traditional spaces. Match the canopy: silver or black with transparent and smoked, gold with amber.

Yes. The canopy mounts on angled ceilings and the wires hang vertically, so have your electrician center the canopy over the stairwell or table below.

The questions we hear most

All FAQs →

How do I know what size to order?

Add your room's length and width in feet — that number read as inches is a good target diameter. A 12 × 14 ft room points to roughly a 26″ fixture. Then check your ceiling height, which decides how far it can drop.

Or skip the maths: send us both figures and we will name the exact fixture and size that fits. It is free, it takes a day, and there is no obligation to buy. The size and fit guide covers every rule we work to.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are processed in 2–7 business days, then standard shipping runs 7–20 business days within the US and 7–15 days internationally. Express is 5–11.

Every product page shows an estimate for the size you select, and tracking is sent the moment the fixture ships.

What if it arrives damaged?

Every order ships fully insured, with crystal and glass packed piece by piece in separate compartments.

If something arrives broken, photograph it the day it lands and keep the original carton. We send the replacement part or the whole fixture at our cost — no claim to argue, no return shipping to pay.

Can the drop length be changed?

On adjustable models, yes — and at no extra cost. Send your ceiling height with the order and the suspension is cut before it ships, so your electrician mounts it rather than modifying it on a ladder.

Finish and dimension changes are quoted per project. See customize your light.

Do I need an electrician?

For hardwired fixtures, yes. Mounting hardware and instructions ship with every order; the electrician's time is not included.

One thing worth checking first: a standard US ceiling box supports up to 50 lb. Above that the fixture needs support independent of the box. Every product page lists its weight so your electrician can confirm before the install date.

What is the return policy?

30 days from delivery, unused and in the original packaging. Custom and personalized items are excluded, which is why any custom specification is confirmed in writing before production starts.

A catalogue fixture with a custom drop length is not a custom item — it returns under the normal policy.

Which safety certifications do the fixtures carry?

UL and ETL for the United States and Canada, CE and VDE for Europe, SAA for Australia, plus FCC and ROHS.

Certification documents are available on request for any product — useful if the fixture is going into a permitted job or a commercial space.

Do you work with designers and contractors?

Yes. The trade program covers tiered pricing from 10–25%, priority processing, specification support on plans and elevations, and one account contact across every project.

Applications are reviewed within two business days, and there is no minimum order to apply.
