Installation: Hardwired. Licensed electrician required. Mount the canopy to a metal junction box or support bracket rated for the fixture weight, fixed into ceiling framing; the crystal-wrapped rod must hang plumb for the tiers to sit level. Scaffold or lift access and two people are needed for all sizes.

Chain adjustment: The 47.2" (120cm) chain shortens on site by removing links; set the final length before hanging the crystal prisms.

Lighting: E14 LED bulbs in Warm Light 3000K or Cool Light 6000K; the dimmable version pairs with dimmable E14 LEDs and an LED-rated dimmer. Replace with bulbs of the same wattage and color temperature.

Cleaning: Power off at the breaker. Dust the prisms with a dry microfiber cloth; for smudges, use a lightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Wipe the plated frame with a soft dry cloth; avoid abrasive or acidic cleaners. Clean tall installations from a lift or landing.

Checkups: Re-check the canopy fixing, chain links, and prism hooks one week after installation, then annually.

The chandelier scales in diameter and height together, so ceiling height sets the size you can hang and the width of the foyer or stairwell confirms it. Because the crystal cascade tapers to a point, the fixture reads well from below as well as from the side, which suits landings and stairs.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Foyer / stairwell: Keep the lowest crystal at least 7 ft (2.13m) above the floor and 6" (15cm) or more clear of any stair rail; in two-story spaces, position the fixture's middle tier level with the second-floor line.
• Dining table: Set the lowest crystal 30-36" (76-91cm) above the tabletop with a 12 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot.
• Living room: Keep the lowest crystal 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs directly over a table.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: Fixture height plus the chain you keep must leave 7 ft (2.13m); on a 16 ft (4.9m) ceiling, the H78.7" (200cm) with a 12" (30cm) chain leaves about 101" (257cm).
• Width check: The top tier is the widest point; keep it under one-third of the foyer or stairwell opening and 12" (30cm) clear of walls and rails.
• Weight check: Four sizes of layered crystal are heavy; confirm the junction box and ceiling framing are rated for the fixture weight, and use a support bracket into a joist for the two larger sizes.
• Crystal seating: Prisms ship separately or loosely hooked; seat every prism on its tier before switching on, since an empty hook shows as a dark gap.
• Custom sizing: For an opening between two listed sizes, order a custom diameter and height rather than compromising on clearance.
