• Installation: Hardwired. Licensed electrician recommended. Mount the ceiling plate to a junction box rated for the fixture weight and fixed into ceiling framing; the H126" (320cm) and H157.5" (400cm) need a support bracket and lift access. Two people are needed for all sizes to hang the strands in order.
• Wire adjustment: The strands hang to the listed height; contact us before ordering for custom lengths if your ceiling requires a different drop.
• Lighting: GU10 LED bulbs included, 6 to 15 by size; replace with GU10 LEDs of the same wattage and color temperature. Dimmable version available upon request.
• Cleaning: Power off at the breaker. Dust the crystal strands with a dry microfiber cloth or soft brush, working top to bottom; for smudges, use a lightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Wipe the plate with a soft dry cloth; avoid abrasive or acidic cleaners on plated finishes. Clean tall installations from a landing or with an extension pole.
• Checkups: Re-check the plate fixing and strand hooks one week after installation, then annually.

Luna scales in diameter and height together, so ceiling height sets the size and the width of the stairwell or foyer confirms it. The GU10 downlights sit in the ceiling plate and shine down through the helix, so the crystal is lit from above and reads brightest from below.

Finish guide (chrome or gold):

Light color guide (which color temperature to choose):

• Warm White (3000K): The match for homes and the gold finish; gives the crystal a champagne sparkle. Choose it for foyers, stairwells, and living areas.
• Cool White (6000K): Maximum sparkle with the chrome finish; suits hotel lobbies and modern white, grey, or black interiors.
• Bulbs: GU10 LEDs are included in the chosen color; replace with GU10 LEDs of the same wattage and color temperature so the helix stays uniform.
• Dimming: Order the dimmable version for foyers where the fixture is the main light and pair it with dimmable GU10 LEDs and an LED-rated dimmer.

By placement:

• Staircase / stairwell: Center the plate in the open well so the helix hangs clear of the treads and rail; the two spirals read from both floors.
• Two-story foyer: Center the plate in the opening; the helix reads from the entry and the landing, and catches daylight from windows during the day.
• High-ceiling entryway: The H70.9" (180cm) in single-story entries with 12-14 ft (3.7-4.3m) ceilings.
• Double-height living room: The H70.9" (180cm) or H110.2" (280cm) over a seating group in rooms of 14 ft+ (4.3m+).
• Hotel lobbies: The H157.5" (400cm) as a centerpiece, or several H70.9" (180cm) in a row.
• Standard 8-10 ft ceilings: Not suitable; the shortest size is 70.9" (180cm) tall.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Stairwell: Keep the lowest crystal at least 7 ft (2.13m) above the treads beneath it and 6" (15cm) clear of the rail.
• Foyer: Maintain 7 ft (2.13m) of floor clearance; in two-story spaces, position the helix crossing points near the second-floor line.
• Living room: Keep the lowest crystal 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs over a table.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: The plate mounts flush, so the listed height is the drop; ceiling height minus fixture height must leave 7 ft (2.13m). A 16 ft (4.9m) ceiling takes the H110.2" (280cm) with about 82" (208cm) to spare.
• Width check: Keep the helix diameter under one-third of the stairwell or foyer opening and 12" (30cm) clear of walls and rails.
• Wire order: The strands ship in numbered order; hang them in sequence around the plate so the two spirals cross cleanly rather than tangling.
• Daylight: Position the fixture where windows light the crystal during the day; the helix reads as a sculpture even when switched off.
• Air movement: Fine wires and crystal beads sway near HVAC vents or open doors; keep the plate 3 ft (0.9m) or more from vents.
