Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Dining table: Set the lowest flower 30-36" (76-91cm) above the tabletop with an 8 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot of ceiling height.
• Kitchen island: Position the lowest flower 32-38" (81-97cm) above the countertop.
• Living room: Keep the lowest flower at least 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs directly over a table.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: The branches hang 19.7"-27.6" (50-70cm) deep; add the wire you keep, up to 47.2" (120cm). On an 8 ft (2.4m) ceiling over a table, the larger sizes need only a few inches of wire.
• Suspension points: Set every wire to the same length so the branch structure hangs level across the bracket.
