• Installation: Hardwired, AC 90-260V. Licensed electrician recommended. Mount the canopy to a junction box rated for the fixture weight; rattan pendants are light and simple to install.

Light color guide (warm or cool white):

• Warm White (2700-3000K): The natural match for rattan; the grass glows honey-toned and the room feels relaxed. Choose it for dining nooks, bedrooms, and coastal or boho interiors.
• Cool White (5000-6000K): A crisper tone for kitchen islands used for prep; note that it makes rattan read paler and cooler.
• Bulb choice: E26/E27 LED, about 12W; a frosted globe bulb gives the most even glow through the weave.

By placement:

• Dining nook / breakfast table: One dome centered over the table, about two-thirds of the table width.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Dining table: Set the bottom of the dome 30-36" (76-91cm) above the tabletop with an 8 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot of ceiling height.
• Kitchen island: Position 32-38" (81-97cm) above the countertop.
• Bedside: Hang 24"-30" (61-76cm) above the mattress top, beside the bed.
• Living room / bedroom: Keep the bottom of the dome at least 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs over a table.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: The dome is 10.6"-16.5" (27-42cm) tall; add the wire you keep, up to 59.1" (150cm).
• Brightness planning: A single 12W bulb gives soft ambient light; for task lighting over an island, hang several domes or add recessed lights.
• Natural variation: Each shade is hand-woven, so the grass texture and tone vary slightly; this is part of the natural material.
• Humidity: Natural rattan grass is best kept away from bathrooms and steam above the stove.
• Bulb heat: Use an LED bulb only to keep heat low near the natural fibers.
