Sylvie is a single compact pendant, so choose how many you need for the space, the cord length for your ceiling height, and the finish. Each pendant lights about 32-54 sq ft (3-5 m²), so use multiples over islands, tables, and bars.

Size guide (how many pendants do you need?):

• One pendant, D4.3" × H3.5" (11 × 9cm), approx. 800 lumens: A bedside, entry console, reading corner, or small breakfast table.
• Two pendants: Both sides of a bed, or a small kitchen island or bar 48"-60" (122-152cm) long.
• Three pendants: Kitchen islands and dining tables 60"-84" (152-213cm) long.
• Four or more pendants: Long islands, bar counters, and tables over 84" (213cm), or a staggered cluster in a stairwell.

Cord length guide:

• 59.1" (150cm): Standard 8-9 ft (2.4-2.7m) ceilings.
• 78.7" (200cm): 10-11 ft (3-3.4m) ceilings or a deeper drop.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Spacing: Keep 24"-30" (61-76cm) between pendants and at least 6" (15cm) from the island ends.
• Even line: Set all pendants to the same height over islands; stagger them only in stairwells or clusters.
• Glare: Keep the pendant out of direct seated eye level over dining tables.
