Veralda is a linear fixture in five lengths with the same width and height, so match the length to the table or island beneath it, then set the cables to the ceiling and pick a finish. The three-tone LED switches between warm, neutral, and white from the wall switch, so the color temperature is not a purchase decision.

Size guide (which length do you need):

• L31.5" (80cm), up to 9,700 lumens: Tables and islands 48"-60" (122-152cm) long, seating 4; breakfast nooks and small offices.
• L39.4" (100cm), up to 12,500 lumens: Tables and islands 60"-72" (152-183cm), seating 4-6; the most common dining room size.

Finish guide (light wood, dark wood, or black):

Light color guide (three-tone lighting):

• Warm: Dinners, evenings, and living areas; flatters food, wood, and skin tones and suits the wood finishes. Runs at half wattage.
• Neutral: Both LED banks on; the brightest mode, for kitchen islands used for prep and for offices and restaurants during the day.
• White: Crisp task light for cleanup, homework at the island, and the black finish in modern kitchens. Runs at half wattage.
• Switching: Cycle the wall switch off and on within a few seconds to move between modes; the fixture keeps the last mode after a normal off period.

• Kitchen island: Position 32-38" (81-97cm) above the countertop so the body stays clear of sightlines while seated or standing.
• Bar counter: Position 30-34" (76-86cm) above the counter.
• Living room / office: Keep the lowest point at least 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs directly over a table.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: Body height is 11" (28cm); add the cable you keep. On an 8 ft (2.4m) ceiling, a 10" (25cm) cable keeps the branch about 33" (84cm) above a standard table.
• Proportion check: Aim for a fixture length of about two-thirds of the table or island length; the 9.8" (25cm) width suits surfaces 30"-42" (76-107cm) wide.
• Cable alignment: The four-point suspension must be set to equal lengths so the branch reads level; a tilted linear fixture is the most visible installation error.
• Canopy position: The linear canopy should sit over the table's midpoint; confirm the junction box location before drywall repair.
• Output check: At neutral mode the L51.2" (130cm) exceeds 15,000 lumens; in a smaller dining room, run warm or white mode for everyday use or order the dimmable version.
