• Installation: Professional installation recommended. Confirm ceiling support and junction box rating before mounting, especially on larger ring counts.
• Cable setup: Start by setting the lowest ring height first, then adjust the remaining cables to create a smooth spiral profile. Tighten all cable grippers and re-check level from multiple angles.

Asty is a “volume fixture.” The goal is to size it to the open air below the ceiling, then set the lowest ring height based on traffic and sightlines.

Choosing 3 to 8 rings (quick rules)

• 3 to 4 rings: Best for standard ceiling heights where you want a statement without a long drop. Great for bedrooms, dining rooms, and living rooms with moderate ceiling height.
• 5 to 6 rings: Ideal for taller living rooms, open concept spaces, and smaller two-story areas where the chandelier needs more vertical presence.
• 7 to 8 rings: Built for stair voids, large foyers, and true double-height spaces where the fixture should read from both levels.

Hanging height targets by room

• Two-story foyer / entry: Aim for the lowest ring around 9 to 12 ft above the finished floor so it stays clear of head height and looks centered from the second level.
• Staircase / stairwell: Keep at least 7 ft (84") clearance above walking lines on stairs and landings. In taller voids, stagger rings so the spiral follows the vertical space.
• Living room (over a seating zone): Target the lowest ring around 6.5 to 7.5 ft above the floor. If the fixture sits near a walkway, go higher to protect head clearance.
• Dining room (over a table): If you use Asty above a dining table, set the lowest ring roughly 30 to 36" above the tabletop to reduce glare and keep conversation lines open.
• Bedroom: Keep the lowest ring at least 7 ft above the finished floor, and avoid placing it directly over the pillow line unless the ceiling height is generous.

Sloped and vaulted ceiling tips

• Use cable lengths to “square up” the spiral so rings look level from the main viewing angle.
• If your slope is strong, plan the canopy position so the spiral hangs into the room’s open volume, not into the tight side of the ceiling.

Room Placement Ideas

• Stair void: Center the canopy over the open stair pocket, then set the smallest ring lower to guide the eye downward.
• Foyer: Use 6 to 8 rings for tall entries so the chandelier reads from both floors.
• Living room: Place above the coffee table zone so the spiral becomes the main focal point without blocking traffic flow.
• Dining room: Choose a ring count that matches your ceiling height, then keep the lowest ring at a comfortable table height.
• Bedroom: Position over a seating nook or room center for balanced light without visual clutter.
