Light color guide (warm or cool white):

• Warm White (2700-3000K): A soft golden glow that suits dining tables, breakfast nooks, and the brushed gold frame; flatters food and wood surfaces.
• Cool White (5000-6000K): A crisp, bright tone for kitchen islands used for prep and modern white or grey kitchens.
• Bulb choice: G9 LED capsules, 5W each; bulbs are not included. Use the same wattage and color temperature in all seven globes.
• Matching: Choose the same color temperature as the recessed lights around the island so the kitchen reads as one space.

By placement:

• Kitchen island: Center the fixture lengthwise over the island; for longer islands, hang two or three in a row, spaced 24"-30" (61-76cm) apart.
• Dining table: One fixture centered over a table for four, lengthwise along the table.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Kitchen island: Position the lowest globe 32-38" (81-97cm) above the countertop so the fixture stays clear of sightlines while seated or standing.
• Dining table: Set the lowest globe 30-36" (76-91cm) above the tabletop with an 8 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot of ceiling height.
• Walkways: Keep the lowest globe 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs directly over a surface.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: The fixture is 21.7" (55cm) tall; add the suspension you keep. Confirm the suspension length at order for ceilings over 9 ft (2.7m).
• Multiple fixtures: When hanging two or three, set every fixture to the same height and space them evenly from the island's center so the row reads as one design.
• Canopy position: Confirm the junction box sits over the island's or table's midpoint; an off-center linear fixture is the most visible installation error.
• Globe orientation: The globes sit at varying heights; decide which side faces the main seating before the electrician sets the canopy.
• Bulb heat: Use LED G9 only; halogen G9 bulbs run too hot inside glass globes.
