Light color guide (warm or cool light):

• Foyer / entryway: The D23.6" (60cm) or D31.5" (80cm) in single-story entries; the D39.4" (100cm) on a longer wire in taller foyers.
• Low ceilings (8 ft / 2.4m): Any size with the wire shortened; the 11.8" (30cm) body keeps clearance.
• High ceilings: Extend the wire toward 47.2" (120cm) to bring the drum down into the room.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Dining table: Set the lowest crystal 30-36" (76-91cm) above the tabletop with an 8 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot of ceiling height.
• Living room / bedroom / foyer: Keep the lowest crystal at least 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs directly over a table.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: The fixture is 11.8" (30cm) tall; add the wire you keep. On an 8 ft (2.4m) ceiling over open floor, keep the wire under 1" so the lowest crystal clears 7 ft (2.13m); over a table, the wire can run to about 18" (46cm).
• Proportion check: Choose a diameter about two-thirds of a round table's width; in a living room, add the room's length and width in feet and use that number in inches as a guide diameter.
• Level check: Set all wires to the same length so the drum hangs level and the crystal strands fall straight.
• Crystal seating: Hang every strand before switching on; an empty hook shows as a gap in the waterfall.
• Canopy position: Confirm the junction box sits over the table's midpoint before installation.
