General Specifications:

  • Light Source: LED Bulbs (6W per shade)
  • Bulbs Included: Yes
  • Dimmable: Upon request
  • Body Material: Stainless Steel
  • Shade Material: Acrylic
  • Mounting: Ceiling canopy with adjustable hanging wires
  • Style: Modern
  • Fixture Type: Chandelier, Pendant Light
  • Warranty: 2 Years
  • Certifications: UL, cUL, CSA, ETL, CE, UKCA, RCM, SAA, FCC, CCC, CQC, EMC, GS, LVD, PSE, RoHS, VDE
  • Installation: Hardwired. Licensed electrician recommended. Mount the canopy to a junction box rated for the fixture weight; the 19 Lights needs a support bracket into ceiling framing. Two people are needed for the 12 and 19 Lights.
  • Wire adjustment: Each wire adjusts at the canopy and can be shortened on site. Set and lock every wire length and leaf angle before energizing.
  • Lighting: 6W LED bulbs included, one per leaf; replace with LEDs of the same base, wattage, and color temperature. Dimmable version available upon request with an LED-rated dimmer.
  • Cleaning: Power off at the breaker. Dust the acrylic leaves with a soft brush or dry microfiber cloth, following the vein pattern; for smudges, use a lightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid alcohol-based or abrasive cleaners, which cloud acrylic and mark plated finishes. Clean tall installations from a landing or with an extension pole.
  • Checkups: Re-check the canopy fixing and each wire lock one week after installation, then annually.

Noah comes in three sizes that scale in canopy, drop, and leaf count together, so ceiling height sets the size and room area confirms it. Each size carries its own recommended room range, from 161 sq ft (15 m²) to 431 sq ft (40 m²).

Light count guide (how many leaves do you need):

  • 7 Lights, D15.7" (40cm) canopy, 59.1" (150cm) drop, 3,800-4,200 lumens: Single-story stairwells, entryways, and living rooms with 10-12 ft (3-3.7m) ceilings; rooms of 161-269 sq ft (15-25 m²).
  • 12 Lights, D23.6" (60cm) canopy, 78.7" (200cm) drop, 6,500-7,200 lumens: Two-story stairwells 4-6 ft (1.2-1.8m) wide and living rooms with 14-16 ft (4.3-4.9m) ceilings; rooms of 269-323 sq ft (25-30 m²).
  • 19 Lights, D31.5" (80cm) canopy, 98.4" (250cm) drop, 10,300-11,400 lumens: Two-story foyers 8' × 8' (2.4 × 2.4m) and stairwells 6 ft+ (1.8m+) wide with 16-20 ft (4.9-6.1m) ceilings; rooms of 323-431 sq ft (30-40 m²).

Finish guide (gold or black):

  • Gold: Warms the clear leaves and suits cream, wood, and marble interiors with brass rails, as in the product photo.
  • Black: Frames each leaf with a dark cap for contrast; suits grey, white, and modern monochrome schemes with black railings.

Light color guide (which color temperature to choose):

  • Warm White (3000K): Gives the leaves a soft amber glow; suits homes, the gold finish, and evening-focused spaces.
  • Cool White (6000K): Keeps the leaves crisp and the vein pattern sharp; suits hotel lobbies and modern grey or white interiors with the black finish.
  • Matching: Keep the leaves at the same color temperature as sconces and recessed lights visible from the staircase.
  • Dimming: Order the dimmable version wherever the fixture is the main light, and pair it with an LED-rated dimmer.

By placement:

  • Staircase / stairwell: 12 or 19 Lights centered in the open well, leaves staggered and turned so they appear to drift down the stair, as in the product photo.
  • Two-story foyer: 19 Lights centered in the opening so the leaves read from the entry and the landing.
  • High-ceiling entryway: 7 Lights with the wires shortened for 10-12 ft (3-3.7m) ceilings.
  • High-ceiling living room: 7 or 12 Lights over a seating group in double-height rooms of 12 ft+ (3.7m+).
  • Sloped ceiling: All sizes mount on angled ceilings; the wires hang vertically.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

  • Stairwell: Keep the lowest leaf at least 7 ft (2.13m) above the treads it hangs over and 6" (15cm) clear of the rail; set the highest leaves near the top third of the well.
  • Foyer: Maintain 7 ft (2.13m) of floor clearance; in two-story spaces, spread the leaves so the cascade's center sits level with the second-floor line.
  • Living room: Keep the lowest leaf 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs over a table.
  • Over a console or table: Set the lowest leaf 30-36" (76-91cm) above the surface with a 10 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

  • Drop calculation: The listed height is the maximum with wires fully extended; every wire shortens on site.
  • Leaf orientation: Turn the leaves at varied angles so the engraved veins catch light from different directions; leaves all facing one way read as a flat sheet.
  • Stagger plan: Set the leaves at staggered heights so they overlap in view; leaves at one level lose the drifting effect.
  • Proportion check: Keep the canopy diameter under one-third of the stairwell or foyer opening width, and allow the leaves to extend beyond the canopy edge.
  • Air movement: Light acrylic leaves on fine wires move visibly near HVAC vents or open doors; a slight sway suits the design, but keep the canopy 3 ft (0.9m) or more from vents to avoid tangling.

Textured glass creates layered illumination, each feather providing unique light scatter. Pattern varies with movement.

Width should be 2x fixture diameter plus 3' clearance for proper visual impact and traffic flow.

Gold adds warmth to neutral walls, black creates drama with light surfaces, white provides seamless integration.

  • Commercial lobbies (30-40m²) need 19-light for proper scale.
  • Hotel entries (25-30m²) work best with 12-light.
  • Residential foyers (15-25m²) suit 7-light configuration. C

onsider ceiling height and traffic patterns for each.

  • Retail areas need bright, even illumination from 12-19 lights.
  • Restaurant staircases work best with dimmed 7-12 light arrangements.
  • Office spaces benefit from programmable scenes with any size configuration.
  • Grand entries (400+ sq ft) need centered 19-light placement for full effect.
  • Standard entries (250 sq ft) benefit from 12-light offset from door.
  • Small foyers (150 sq ft) work with 7-light centered or corner positioning.

Traffic flow patterns should guide exact placement.

The 7 Lights for single-story spaces of 10-12 ft (3-3.7m), the 12 Lights for two-story wells of 14-16 ft (4.3-4.9m), and the 19 Lights for foyers and wide stairwells of 16-20 ft (4.9-6.1m). Then confirm the room falls within each size's recommended area.

Exactly the coverage we needed

We went back and forth between two sizes for our living room. Sent the room dimensions in and got a straight answer the same day. Installed on a standard 9-foot ceiling with no issues.

Install went smoothly

Two-storey entryway. Our electrician handled the mounting in about two hours. Packaging was serious - every strand wrapped separately, nothing chipped.

Worth the wait

Shipping took longer than I hoped, but it arrived in the window they quoted and the fixture is a lot of presence. Measure carefully first.

Modern Chandelier replied

Thanks Elena - transit on the larger configurations does run to the back half of our stated window. We show the estimate on every product page so there are no surprises.

The questions we hear most

All FAQs →

How do I know what size to order?

Add your room's length and width in feet — that number read as inches is a good target diameter. A 12 × 14 ft room points to roughly a 26″ fixture. Then check your ceiling height, which decides how far it can drop.

Or skip the maths: send us both figures and we will name the exact fixture and size that fits. It is free, it takes a day, and there is no obligation to buy. The size and fit guide covers every rule we work to.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are processed in 2–7 business days, then standard shipping runs 7–20 business days within the US and 7–15 days internationally. Express is 5–11.

Every product page shows an estimate for the size you select, and tracking is sent the moment the fixture ships.

What if it arrives damaged?

Every order ships fully insured, with crystal and glass packed piece by piece in separate compartments.

If something arrives broken, photograph it the day it lands and keep the original carton. We send the replacement part or the whole fixture at our cost — no claim to argue, no return shipping to pay.

Can the drop length be changed?

On adjustable models, yes — and at no extra cost. Send your ceiling height with the order and the suspension is cut before it ships, so your electrician mounts it rather than modifying it on a ladder.

Finish and dimension changes are quoted per project. See customize your light.

Do I need an electrician?

For hardwired fixtures, yes. Mounting hardware and instructions ship with every order; the electrician's time is not included.

One thing worth checking first: a standard US ceiling box supports up to 50 lb. Above that the fixture needs support independent of the box. Every product page lists its weight so your electrician can confirm before the install date.

What is the return policy?

30 days from delivery, unused and in the original packaging. Custom and personalized items are excluded, which is why any custom specification is confirmed in writing before production starts.

A catalogue fixture with a custom drop length is not a custom item — it returns under the normal policy.

Which safety certifications do the fixtures carry?

UL and ETL for the United States and Canada, CE and VDE for Europe, SAA for Australia, plus FCC and ROHS.

Certification documents are available on request for any product — useful if the fixture is going into a permitted job or a commercial space.

Do you work with designers and contractors?

Yes. The trade program covers tiered pricing from 10–25%, priority processing, specification support on plans and elevations, and one account contact across every project.

Applications are reviewed within two business days, and there is no minimum order to apply.

Still deciding?

Send your ceiling height and room dimensions. We will tell you which fixture and size fits — free, with no obligation to buy.
