• Installation: Hardwired. Licensed electrician recommended. Mount the canopy to a junction box rated for the fixture weight and fixed into ceiling framing; both sizes carry crystal-studded steel rings and need a support bracket plus lift access. Two people are needed to hold and set the rings.
• Wire adjustment: Each ring's wires adjust at the canopy and can be shortened on site. Set the height, offset, and tilt of every ring before energizing.
• Lighting: Integrated LED; no bulbs to replace. Fixed color temperature at order; the remote control option dims from its remote and should not be paired with a wall dimmer.
• Cleaning: Power off at the breaker. Dust the crystal bands with a dry microfiber cloth; for smudges, use a lightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Wipe the matte black frame with a soft dry cloth; avoid abrasive or acidic cleaners. Clean tall installations from a landing or with an extension pole.
• Checkups: Re-check the canopy fixing and each wire lock one week after installation, then annually.

Olive comes in a 6-ring and an 8-ring version that share the same 47.2" (120cm) largest ring, so the width of the opening is the same for both and the choice comes down to ceiling height and how dense the cascade should read. Each ring hangs on its own wires and can be tilted, so the arrangement adapts on site.

Ring count guide (how many rings do you need):

• 6 Rings, 137.8" (350cm) height: Two-story stairwells 6 ft+ (1.8m+) wide, foyers 10' × 10' (3 × 3m), and double-height living rooms with 16-22 ft (4.9-6.7m) ceilings.
• 8 Rings, 177.2" (450cm) height: Villa entrance halls, hotel lobbies, and three-story stairwells with 22 ft+ (6.7m+) ceilings; the extra 27.6" (70cm) and 35.4" (90cm) rings fill the middle of the cascade.

Light color guide:

• Confirm Warm White or Cool White at order. Warm White gives the crystal bands a champagne glow against the black frame and suits homes; Cool White maximizes sparkle and suits hotel lobbies and modern grey or white interiors.
• Dimming: Choose the remote control option wherever the fixture is the main light; it dims from the remote without a wall dimmer.
• Matching: Keep the rings at the same color temperature as sconces and recessed lights visible from the staircase.

By placement:

• Staircase / stairwell: Either size centered in the open well, rings tilted and offset so the cascade spirals down the stair.
• Two-story foyer: 6 Rings centered in the opening; 8 Rings where the foyer rises three stories.
• High-ceiling living room: 6 Rings over a seating group in double-height rooms of 16 ft+ (4.9m+), as in the product photo.
• Hotel lobbies: 8 Rings as a centerpiece; the tilted rings read from every angle of a large lobby.
• Standard 8-12 ft ceilings: Not suitable; the shortest size is 137.8" (350cm) tall.
• Sloped ceiling: Both sizes mount on angled ceilings; the wires hang vertically.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Stairwell: Keep the lowest ring at least 7 ft (2.13m) above the treads it hangs over and 6" (15cm) clear of the rail; set the top ring near the top third of the well.
• Foyer: Maintain 7 ft (2.13m) of floor clearance; in two-story spaces, position the middle rings level with the second-floor line.
• Living room: Keep the lowest ring 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs over a table.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: The listed height is the maximum with wires fully extended; every ring's wires shorten on site, so the stack compresses for lower ceilings.
• Tilt plan: Tilt each ring 10-20 degrees in alternating directions and offset the rings horizontally; rings hung level and centered read as a straight stack rather than the spiral in the photo.
• Ring order: Vary the sequence rather than stacking strictly by size; the photo mixes large and small rings through the cascade for a looser look.
• Proportion check: Keep the 47.2" (120cm) largest ring under one-third of the stairwell or foyer opening width, and allow the tilted rings to extend beyond the canopy edge.

Air movement: Rings on fine wires sway near HVAC vents or open doors; keep the canopy 3 ft (0.9m) or more from vents.
