Installation: Hardwired. Licensed electrician recommended. Mount the hanging board to a junction box and ceiling framing rated for the fixture weight; marble adds substantial load, and the L39.37" (100cm) needs a level board across its full length to hang straight. Two people are needed to lift the body during wiring.

Wire adjustment: The 51.18" (130cm) wires adjust at the board and can be shortened on site. Set all wires to matching lengths before attaching the marble tiles.

By placement:

• Kitchen island: The L31.50" (80cm) suits islands 48"-60" (122-152cm) long; the L39.37" (100cm) covers islands 60"-72" (152-183cm), leaving 10"-16" (25-40cm) of counter clear at each end.
• Rectangular dining table: The L31.50" (80cm) fits tables 48"-60" (122-152cm) seating 4-6; the L39.37" (100cm) spans tables 60"-72" (152-183cm) seating 6-8.
• Living room: Either size over a rectangular coffee table in rooms 12' × 14' (3.7 × 4.3m) or larger; the L39.37" (100cm) reads better in open-plan spaces.
• Commercial spaces (restaurants, reception, boutiques): The L39.37" (100cm) over reception counters and communal tables; hang multiple units in a row over long tables, spaced 24"-36" (61-91cm) apart.
• Low ceiling rooms (8 ft / 2.4m): Shorten the wire to 8"-12" (20-30cm) for a total drop of about 22"-26" (56-66cm) from the ceiling to the lowest marble tile.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Dining table: Set the lowest marble tile 30-36" (76-91cm) above the tabletop with an 8 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot of ceiling height.
• Kitchen island: Position 32-38" (81-97cm) above the countertop so the body stays clear of sightlines while seated or standing.
• Living room: Keep the lowest point at least 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs directly over a table.
• Commercial spaces: Hold 7 ft (2.13m) of clearance over circulation paths; over fixed tables and counters, use the dining or island rule.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: Body height is 14.17" (36cm) plus the 1.57" (4cm) hanging board; add your chosen wire length. On an 8 ft (2.4m) ceiling, keep the wire under 12" (30cm) so the lowest tile clears 30" (76cm) above a table.
• Proportion check: Aim for a fixture length of about two-thirds of the table or island length; the 13.78" (35cm) width sits well on surfaces 30"-42" (76-107cm) wide.
