• Installation: Hardwired, AC 90-260V. Licensed electrician recommended. Mount the canopy to a junction box rated for the fixture weight; two people are needed to hold the longer sizes level during wiring.
• Wire adjustment: The 78.7" (200cm) wires adjust at the canopy and can be shortened on site. Match all wires before energizing.
• Lighting: Integrated LED; no bulbs to replace. Fixed warm and cool versions use an on/off switch; the remote version dims from its remote and should not be paired with a wall dimmer.

Skye comes in four lengths that add ten light bars at each step, so match the length to the island or table below, then set the wire, rotate the bars to shape the light, and choose a lighting version. All sizes share the same 18.5" (47cm) height.

Size guide (which length do you need):

• L18.9" (48cm), 10 bars, 4,000-5,000 lumens: Small round tables, breakfast nooks, desks, and entryways; rooms of 86-129 sq ft (8-12 m²).
• L38.2" (97cm), 20 bars, 8,000-10,000 lumens: Kitchen islands and dining tables 60"-72" (152-183cm); rooms of 161-215 sq ft (15-20 m²).
• L57.1" (145cm), 30 bars, 12,000-15,000 lumens: Islands and tables 84"-96" (213-244cm); open-plan rooms of 215-323 sq ft (20-30 m²).

By placement:

• Kitchen island: Center lengthwise with 12"-18" (30-46cm) of counter clear at each end; rotate the bars downward for task light.
• Dining table: Center over the table's midpoint; angle the bars outward for a wider, softer spread.
• Living room: The L57.1" (145cm) or L74.8" (190cm) over a long seating group as a sculptural centerpiece.
• Office: The L38.2" (97cm) to L74.8" (190cm) over desks or conference tables, in Cool 6000K for focused work.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Kitchen island: Position the lowest bar 32-38" (81-97cm) above the countertop.
• Dining / conference table: Set the lowest bar 30-36" (76-91cm) above the tabletop with an 8 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot of ceiling height.
• Living room: Keep the lowest bar at least 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs over a table.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: The fixture is 18.5" (47cm) tall; add the wire you keep, up to 78.7" (200cm). On an 8 ft (2.4m) ceiling over a table, keep the wire at about 12"-15" (30-38cm).
• Bar rotation: Set the bars to a consistent pattern, all vertical, all angled, or alternating, so the fishbone reads intentional.
• Output check: The longer sizes are very bright; for home dining rooms, choose the remote control version to dim to a comfortable level.
• Proportion check: Aim for a length of about two-thirds of the island or table.
• Canopy position: Confirm the junction box sits over the table's midpoint.
