Light color guide (which color temperature to choose):

• Warm White (3000K): The default choice for residential stairwells and foyers; brings out the gold finish and gives the crystal bubbles an amber-tinted sparkle. Best for homes with wood floors, cream or beige walls, and brass or gold hardware.
• Natural White (4000K): Neutral tone that keeps the crystal clear and the gold true to color; suits grey, white, and marble interiors and spaces used through the day, such as open-plan entryways and hotel lobbies.
• Cool White (6000K): Crisp, daylight-like light that maximizes the sparkle of the K9 crystal but cools the gold finish; choose it for contemporary commercial atriums and lobbies where brightness matters more than warmth.
• Matching the rest of the house: Pick the same color temperature as the wall sconces and ceiling lights in the same sightline; a warm cluster above a cool-lit stair reads as mismatched from the floor below.

• Hotel lobbies / commercial atriums: The 25 to 60 Lights as a centerpiece, or several smaller clusters in a row along a long lobby.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Stairwell: Keep the lowest crystal at least 7 ft (2.13m) above the treads it hangs over and 6" (15cm) or more clear of the rail; set the highest drops near the top third of the well.
• Foyer: Maintain 7 ft (2.13m) of floor clearance; in two-story spaces, spread the drops so the cluster's center sits level with the second-floor line.
• Multi-story atrium: Distribute the drops so each floor level has crystals in view; avoid bunching all the long wires at the bottom of the well.
• Over an entry table: Set the lowest crystal 30-36" (76-91cm) above the tabletop with a 10 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot of ceiling height.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: The listed height is the maximum with wires fully extended; every wire shortens on site, so plan the longest drop to clear 7 ft (2.13m) above the lowest walking surface below it.
• Layout choice: Staggered is the default and reads well from every angle; spiral follows the curve of a winding stair and looks best when the canopy is centered in a round or curved well.
• Proportion check: Keep the canopy diameter under one-third of the stairwell or foyer opening width; the 31.50" (80cm) canopy on the 30 to 60 Lights needs an opening of at least 8 ft (2.4m).
• Wire plan: Cut wires to a staggered pattern before hanging the crystals, working from the longest to the shortest; uniform lengths flatten the cascade effect.
