• Installation: Hardwired. Licensed electrician recommended. Mount the canopy to a junction box rated for the fixture weight; the 24 to 35-light versions carry substantial crystal and need a support bracket into ceiling framing plus lift access. Two people are needed for clusters of 10 lights and up.
• Wire adjustment: Each wire adjusts at the canopy and can be shortened on site. Set and lock every wire before energizing.
• Lighting: 5W LED bulbs included, one per stone; replace with LEDs of the same base, wattage, and color temperature. Fixed color temperature at order; the remote control option dims from its remote and should not be paired with a wall dimmer.
• Cleaning: Power off at the breaker. Wipe the crystal stones with a dry microfiber cloth; for smudges, use a lightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Finish guide (black or gold):

Light color guide:

• Confirm Warm White or Cool White at order. Warm White gives the stones a champagne glow and suits homes and the gold finish; Cool White maximizes sparkle and suits hotel lobbies and the black finish in modern interiors.
• Dimming: Choose the remote control option wherever the fixture is the main light; it dims from the remote without a wall dimmer.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Stairwell: Keep the lowest stone at least 7 ft (2.13m) above the treads it hangs over and 6" (15cm) clear of the rail; set the highest stones near the top third of the well.
• Foyer: Maintain 7 ft (2.13m) of floor clearance; in two-story spaces, spread the stones so the cascade's center sits level with the second-floor line.
• Living room: Keep the lowest stone 7 ft (2.13m) above walking areas unless it hangs over a table.
• Over a console or table: Set the lowest stone 30-36" (76-91cm) above the surface with a 10 ft ceiling; add 3" (7.6cm) per additional foot.

Placement tips that prevent common mistakes

• Drop calculation: The listed height is the maximum with wires fully extended; every wire shortens on site. Each stone adds 5.5" (14cm) below its wire.
• Stair-angle plan: Cut the wires so the stones descend along the same slope as the stair; the individual wires are designed for this and a stagger that ignores the stair reads as random.
• Stone orientation: Turn the stones at varied angles so their facets catch light from different directions.
• Proportion check: Keep the canopy diameter under one-third of the stairwell or foyer opening width.
• Air movement: Crystal stones on fine wires sway near HVAC vents or open doors; keep the canopy 3 ft (0.9m) or more from vents.
