Installation notes:

• Install with a licensed electrician. Confirm your ceiling box and mounting surface are rated for the fixture weight.
• On sloped ceilings, stagger cable lengths so the cluster still looks centered.

Zarmel’s impact comes from two things: light count and how you shape the drop layout. Plan the lowest point first, then build the cluster around it.

How to choose the light count

• 3 Lights: Small entry zones, compact bedrooms, or a tight stair landing where you want a warm accent without filling the ceiling.
• 4 Lights: Medium bedrooms, breakfast nooks, and smaller foyers that need a fuller cluster.
• 5 Lights: Open living rooms, larger bedrooms, and mid-size foyers where you want stronger presence.
• 7 Lights: Two-story foyers, tall stairwells, and larger open spaces where the fixture needs wider visual coverage.

Hanging height rules by room (practical)

• Dining table: Keep the lowest shade about 30–36" above the tabletop to reduce glare and keep sightlines open.
• Kitchen island: Keep the lowest shade about 30–36" above the countertop. If seating is directly below, lean slightly higher for comfort.
• Living room (over a coffee table): Aim for the lowest point about 6.5–7.5 ft from the floor, higher if near a walkway.
• Foyer / entry: Many homes look balanced when the lowest shade sits around 8–10 ft from the finished floor, adjusted for sightlines from a second level.
• Staircase / stairwell: Maintain at least 7 ft (84") clearance above all walking paths and steps.
• Bedroom: If centered, keep the lowest point 7 ft or higher from the floor. Avoid placing the lowest drop directly above pillows.

Layout tip for the best “cluster” look

• Set one strand as the “hero” lowest point.
• Stagger the rest in small steps so the cluster looks intentional, not random.
• Stand at the main viewing angle (front door, stair landing, sofa) and fine-tune until it feels centered in the room volume.

Room Placement Ideas

• Two-story foyer: Center the canopy over the open volume and stagger drops so the cluster reads from both floors.
• Stairwell: Place the canopy over the stair void and shape the drops to follow the vertical space.
• Dining room: Use 4–7 lights over a longer table for a warmer, layered look.
• Bedroom: Choose 3–4 lights for a softer statement and keep the cluster higher to preserve openness.
